Paced for a manic cocaine high, Carrie would've loved it. Editing is ridiculous, so fast you barely keep up. Loads of plot mechanisms are just made up to move the story along then never referenced again. it felt like a shallow, broad puddle of ideas squashed together Visually it's spectacular, though. Got a lot of Bekinski vibes from some of the darker parts. ultimately though, as a movie, it's weak.

Jesse deserved a better ending and some retribution and he got it. Glad it went this way for him. Enjoyed the movie.
