No war movie I've seen holds a candle to Forgotten Battle. Most of all it's honest. No-one is enjoying the violence. Almost no character is without moral compromise. There are no unlikely saviours. It's a vile war with real people on all sides doing what they have to do, and that's what makes it compelling because thay are us. What would we do?
