A great adaptation! I have read the original source material, which means yes, I have read the comic book, I've always felt that the way the series is best to be adapted in an anthology style, in that the story for each episode can easily be a standalone one. I find it to be very enjoyable and fun! Lastly, to the 1-star "reviewers" who think that The Sandman is "woke," please learn media literacy, read the original source material (which was published 1989-1996), and watch the series again, perhaps then you won't think the series as "woke."
