This book & the movie were well done. It brought my memory alive. I believe Moore was a Lt Col actually & Basil Plumbley one of the very best SMajor’s in the entire Army. A tough & experienced old bird I would have loved the opportunity to serve with. A terrible gun fight, in a terrible war driven for all the wrong reasons by all the wrong people in government. We paid a terrible price. RIP General & SMajor. Hand Salute.
