The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides got 4 stars out of 5. The reason for not giving it 5 stars is simply because I keep 5 stars for my favorite books. This book was amazingly written. Before reading I heard about how much of a slow burn this book was. I didn't think so. In the beginning of the book it grabs a hold of you. Just to think about someone murdering their husband and then becoming silent. This book appealed to the detective in me because it kind of had that detective element to it. The twist , was not what I was expecting at all. I had my assumptions of what I thought the outcome was going to be but boy was I wrong. Just wanting to know what happened is what kept me reading. I'm an old fashion girly. I read this on kindle as well as listening to it. I wish I would of bought a physical copy of this book and read it that way. At some point I will be buying this an adding to my collection. GIVE THIS BOOK A CHANCE I BELIEVE YOU WONT REGRET IT!!!
