A typical mass movie with pure commercial motive. Brilliant making including cinematography and edits. Mohanlal,Manju,Vivek Oberoi ,Saikumar,Shajon,Indirajith,Saniya,Baiju all have done good performance.For me more personally appealing perfomance were from Saikumar and Vivek Oberoi. Not the career best perfomance of Mohanlal,still a mass item from him after a while. Muraly gopy adopted a different way of story telling though the core is a political drama with a quite predictable storyline. Not that strong in content compared to his previous works.But the movie was successful in portraying the dirty politics and media lobbying in our polity. Music section was handled well,but lack of signature bgm for characters,especially that of mohanlal made it unease at times.Probably Sushin shyams approach as in Great father wud be much much better than this experiment.The way each characters were presented and developed were awesome. Ending was one anther minus point which i felt cud have been made with much more clarity.The core details on central character were shown aftr climax scene along with end credits left ppl in confusion as most of them left theatre already. Its still unclear that whether they have tried to bring illuminati and red pill concept ,as these were not explicitly shown /mentioned anywhere. This cud have been presented by giving more focus to the climax than wasting time on the cliche slow motions and 'item dance' towards the end. But brilliance in camera works,editing,fight sequence and overall stylish making helped to balance that drawback in scripting. Overall a nice theater experience and much appealing movie for die hard fans of mohanlal's heroism.Its not a must watch kinda film.But try not to miss it in theaters to enjoy the beauty of its making and camera works.No need of going to movie with hgh expectations (On a very personal note expected a little more standard in quality of content from Pritviraj and Muraly gopy apart from these heroic avatar of Mohanlal with back to back slow motion tributing every minute movement of star,anachronistic ' item dance' that fails to rise above standards of fans fantasies) My rating Direction 4/5 Cinematography-4.5/5 Script-3/5(My least fav among Muraly gopy scripts) Music-2/5 Act-(5/5) overall---3.75/5
