Very well written book and a powerful interplay between a man and his soul. Hudson's descriptive prose makes you feel as if you are walking in his character's footsteps through jungle, desert and savannas. There is a gentle interplay of romance but I feel that it's really about the human spirit and the fight between good and evil.
