Thank goodness Disney does not own Star Trek I have not enjoyed a majority of the shows Disney has created in the Star Wars universe. I have found them to be poorly written and quite boring. Expecting The Acolyte to fall in the same suit I was not disappointed. Holy moly that show is dull. After three episodes I do not plan on watching any more. This seems to be the way Disney treats the already popular shows that they buy. They put out garbage expecting the fan base to watch regardless. Marvel - has gone downhill Family Guy - lost its edge Futurama reboot - YIKES! What a disappointment Simpsons - stopped watching over a decade ago
