I read all Ken Follet’s books and this is the worst book ever. No real storyline, characters are not developed and the African scene, which could have been the most interesting, has barely something to do with the rest of the story. This book is the perfect example of how to waste 800 pages…it took me over 3 months to finish it cause I just couldn’t manage more than few pages a day without falling asleep
