This movie has become one of my most favourite movies. The story depicts the power of simple but effective story line. The plot revolves around Shashi Godbole,a typical Indian housewife who loses respect among her family members for her lack of skills in communicating in English. She maintains her passion for cooking by selling laddoos and her husband and daughter make fun of her instead of applauding and supporting her . Shashi gets invited to her sisters house a in Newyork to lend a helping hand in her nieces wedding and in course of events,regains her self worth and self respect by learning the language and delivering a speech in English on the day if the wedding much to her family's surprise. Sridevi is Back with her spectacular performance. Give this movie a shot if you have an eye for movies which feel good and are not so over dramatic and will leave you with an important and inspiring message .
