I fell in love with Tales of Berseria. The main character is beyond compelling in that Tales game. An anti hero, that you can't help cheer for, even at her worst.... BUT, the combat was on the week side. Just not as engaging as it could have been (maybe they spend the budget on the writing staff?). TALES OF ARISE manages to combine BOTH story and game play, into something EPIC. finally, combat that feels POWERFUL, but, with real consequences for Errors. You would be Hard pressed to find a box that this game doesn't check, BUT, for folks who are big fans of Dark Soul, this might be too forgiving, BUT, will make up with engaging story.
