I'm not super caught up on Mario lore, but this movie far exceeded my expectations as a casual viewer. It had more than its fair share of funny moments, excellent visuals, good acting, and a pretty decent storyline. I was not expecting a good movie, and I was given a great one. Final thoughts; I'd be happy to have grown up with this movie. Well done
