i'm surprise this movie has received so much negative feedback. i think it is a sweet tribute to the 100th year milestone, and finding the easter eggs took be back to my childhood many times.. also- seeing all of my old favorites in the credits was heartwarming. i thought the animation was very well done, casting was good, and the soundtrack is one of my favorites. only gave it 4 stars because i think they could've done a liiiiiiittle more to make it nostalgic/pay homage to the previous 100 years of disney.

While I am certainly not an expert on all things little mermaid- this remake was way more pleasant and entertaining than I expected it to be. Definitely one of the better live action films Disney has created in a long time. It mostly follows the same storyline as the original while also adding its own unique features.
