I've seen many Holocaust related films - this one tells part of the story in a compelling way - just like Lanzman's "Shoah" tells another part of the story in a different way. I do not understand the negative reviews because it tells the story much more convincingly than say Spielberg's "Schindler's List." [Note: I like Spielberg's work and Schindler's story] Desplat's score is a very large plus also!
