Damn I was so excited and now I’m not. WTH happened CW? Lmao the only thing the original books and this series have in common is the name. They tried so hard to modernize it by butchering the closeness, charm and respect that the characters had for each other. Mr Drew was a great father, Nancy was sweet and gracious and her friends were awesome. They added a black character in- Ned (the sweetest bf) yay! But of course that means he has to be a felon. The characters seems to be cookie cutter and they’ve been done before by CW with supernatural and Riverdale. I don’t mind that Nancy haves sex, girl you do you but in order for her to be modern she doesn’t have to be the same as every other character you guys ‘create’🙃
