Went into the movie knowing it wasn't "traditional" Adam Sandler but ready for anything. And I got everything. I can't imagine anyone else playing this inventive role. Yes, it was loud, but loud like the NYC backdrop and the jewelry store and the vestibule, loud was itself another character in the movie. I was riveted throughout and stunned, especially in the final minutes. Oscar worthy for Adam Sandler as well as the remarkable technical work. And I am a boomer, for the benefit of the reviewer who casually lumps a group of people together (boomers) as homogenous and without the capability for individual thought and insight. Dangerous to do that with any group of people, of any age, background, or experience.
