This movie was fun and very entertaining. All the characters were well-played. It’s an old-fashioned movie that appeals to old-fashioned people. Sadly, despite this and all the wonderful films that Clint Eastwood has given us, it will probably be derided or ignored by folks on the left, because Clint is a Republican.

I liked the Icelandic scenery and the closeups of the sheep and the dog. I thought it was very odd that these poor, hard scrabble farmers were driving a new Land Rover. The story was just too weird, especially the bizarro ending. It might have been received better in the US n about 1967.

Anne Marie Green is a great announcer. I watch her show every morning. But she needs a makeover. That pale lipstick and those frumpy clothes! She’s a beautiful, classy woman, but she really needs an update!
