I always thought Rome was very involved in creating modern Christianity. They wrote/constructed the bible. They supposedly removed 400 plus documents early Christians were using. They murdered Christians who didn't believe Jesus was god. Infact, they created the trinity. Jews would never do that but Rome was famous for merging 3 gods as one. So I always thought no one really knew what Christianity was before Rome took over. And now it seems we're finding out Rome itself invented Christianity. Amazing.
