Hard to believe, but I damn near figured out the main plot point in the first 5 minutes. (Spoiler alert)
From what the Doc said in the beginning and the title, it was pretty much spelled out. What I did like was how the movie evolved to the " how". I knew she was being controlled, but the reveal was a little hard to swallow. The biggest plot hole is how this woman didn't remember ANY parts of "Gabriel" in her adult life. How did having a little sister repress him? If she did it herself....how? Why did he stop talking to her? Why did her adoptive parents never disclose her potential "mental disorder" to her? Why did Gabriels presence affect electrical things? Why did he need to speak through electronics? Last I checked, he controlled the whole body, including the mouth. ( Maybe Steven King can answer that one.. seems like his type of thing). Like I said..... So.... many..... HOLES....
But, I loved the journey. If you're die hard horror/ mystery...pass this up. It ain't for you. If you love gore and a fun ride, by all means...push the play button and enjoy. I know I did.
