I waited 9 years for this movie and NGL I think the script I made when I was 11 has more pizzazz. I could go super into it but I don’t really want to. Just not mad just disappointed. I loved how everyone in the theater was fans and right when the credits started rolling everyone just stayed and started discussing and dissecting lol. The franchise will always hold a place in my heart like crazy but MAN I wanted an epic movie about lore and backstory and more action. IDK what that pillow fort scene was that’s kinda where they lost me. I feel like they tried to cater to everyone (fans, non fans, kids, toddlers, teens, adults) and thus it was just kinda a disaster. I wish they hadn’t changed the characters backstories? Just add in new characters if you’re gonna do that. Just made me confused. They made it weird keeping character names but changing the origins of the characters.
