The only novel I actually read and enjoyed at school. Great book Jackie French!

I applaud Claire for her efforts in writing this book however there are many aspects of this book that are hard to read and generally boring. I don't want to spend too long on this review so I will say that there has to be more clarity in the story. I'm not sure whether this is intended purpose or otherwise but there are some aspects of the book that just jump from one thing to another. Sometimes when I read this I was very confused and had to re-read it at least four times. Please take this feedback into consideration Claire if you are reading this. I believe Claire has what it takes to be a great author however a 1917 and Star Wars rip-off isn't going to get many readers' attention. Especially since this is 2021.
