I recently watched the Hindi 3D version of "Kalki" in Noida, UP. Here’s my detailed review of the movie:Overall Impression: The movie left me with mixed feelings. While there were a few highlights, the overall execution was somewhat lacking.3D Effects: The 3D effects were well-done and added a layer of immersion to the movie. Visually, the film had its moments, and the 3D technology was utilized effectively.Performances: Amitabh Bachchan stood out with his performance, delivering a compelling portrayal that surpassed all others in the film. His screen presence and acting prowess are undeniable.Story and Direction: The story was a major letdown. It felt disjointed and lacked coherence, leaving me wondering if there was any substantial plot at all. The direction seemed to have missed the mark in utilizing the talents of the cast. Prabhas, in particular, was underutilized and his comedic attempts felt forced and unnecessary, detracting from his usual strong performances.Wasted Potential: The director seemed to have wasted the potential of a star-studded cast, especially Prabhas, who is known for his strong on-screen presence. The movie failed to capitalize on his strengths, making his character feel out of place.Conclusion: "Kalki" had the potential to be a great movie with its star cast and technical aspects like 3D effects. However, the weak storyline and poor character utilization led to a lackluster experience. Amitabh Bachchan's performance and the visual effects are the few saving graces of the film. Overall, it's an okay watch, but it could have been much better with a stronger script and more focused direction.
