It is amazing to me that you introduce the athletes and can’t be bothered to check their personal information. Let me enlighten you in regards to the gold medal winner of 200M freestyle - David Popovich, representing Romania. He is born and raised in Bucharest, not Budapest. I assume geography was not CBC’s reporters/presenters best subject, but since this young man will participate in many more competitions to come, it would be nice if someone makes the correction in your script so you don’t sound ignorant when you introduce him at your next swimming event, like the 100M freestyle.
