Season 1 review. Season one gets 3.5/5 stars. I am a huge fan of tripathi sir as always he is absolutely outstanding in this series. So far I am enjoying the first season. A bit disappointed with supporting cast for instance ali afzal in my opinion is not the right choice for the character of guddu. Ali afzal is a good actor and I enjoyed his work in fukrey but he was poorly casted in this series and seeing him struggle was a bit painful. The over acting was too much. Also disappointed in some of the scenes in how they weren't very practical. For instance when the rival gang leader gets shot, his bodyguards are literally just standing around and watching their boss get shot and don't even lift a finger. A bit unrealistic for my taste. Munna's character had a ton of potential and the actor did his very best but again I think he wasn't the appropriate fit. I understand we have to give new talent a chance but these two actors have made their mark in comedies and that's where they belong. Overall a good show I will definitely be watching season 2. Tripathi sir hands down best part of the show and that little boy who was a server at a local restaurant 😀 he was sooooo cute. Season 2 review: season 2 gets 4.5/5 stars Again Mr. Tripathi can do no wrong! I surprisingly enjoyed Munna and Guddu's characters in the second season. I believe they did a much better job in the second season. Guddu in the first season had to try super hard to show his steroid induced aggression and it looked faked but in season 2 he shined through with his acting. Munna was absolutely amazing with his punch line come-backs. Madhuri's character was played by a beautiful and very talented young lady I believe she did an amazing job. Lippi was the cutest little girl. MashaAllah. Overall I found the second season to be better. Ofc one has watch the first season to understand the story but season 2 was more practical. Looking forward to season 3!
