The wife and I are avid watchers of Korean/Chinese/Japanese dramas averaging 4 hours a night since Netflix started airing them four years ago now. We are also hardened gamers - started in the '80's ( we are both over 67 years old ! ). Favourite all time game series - Assassins Creed. So when we realised what 'Memories' was about it was a must watch. And we were not disappointed. We were engrossed for all 16 x 1 hour episodes. The makers of the series certainly new their way around computer games. CANNOT RECOMMEND THIS SHOW ENOUGH. Miss at your peril if you are gamer/ Asian TV fan

What a load of Pretentious overblown BS. Unsurprisingly it's a Prime show. Seems to be their forte over last few years. Throwing Kidman into this mess to attract an audience is abhorrent and I hope they made it worth her while. She should be ashamed. Is this how her career is going to descend. Let the Asians make their own dramas. Netflix do and we get some superb stuff. Prime just jumping on the bandwagon with this Ameri-HongKong mash up

The Germans are not renowned for SciFi I admit. But they can make good TV drama. The Dark was excellent. Full of mystery. This piece of space junk was terrible from the off. The storyline is utter tosh. Main female lead couldn't act her way out of a paper bag. Male lead is not much better. The deaf daughter was the only one who held it all together. Four episodes and the final is derisory. Apparently it's easy to walk out of a desert that needed a helicopter to get there. Whilst limping ! Watch out for the car crash scene. I mean the whole series is a car wreck in itself.

Very weak drama. If I had to pigeon hole the story its a Young Adult. The depiction of the Germans was a risible stereotype. And Mark Ruffalo only emphasised this by hamming up his role. I've not read the book so no idea if the Germans are all depicted there as stupid & inept. I also blame it for a pretty incredulous story. Even a sighted person would have struggled to survive in the bomabardment of St. Malo. But our heroine not only doesn't starve to death but also manages to walk the rubble strewn streets during air raids. The back story of a rare diamond that cures all is pure Indiana Jones and the whole young woman story has more than a whiff of Anne Frank. Very disappointing after the Netflix hype.

Pretentious claptrap. A vehicle for Alicia Viklander who, at best, is an average actor. Check out her IMDB pedigree. The role of 'Executive Producer' seems to be handed out like Halloween candy by the studios. And please.... saying that dross like this is "meta" does not polish a turd. I mean that word is now a joke after Facebook decided it was their future. Masochist that I am I never give up on a book or a series. So did watch every single mind numbingly bland episode. A comedy - Yes and the butt of the joke is the viewer.
