This intense, on-the-ground documentary about people in forced migration allows the people to give their story. As a documentary, it is perfectly put together, with no judgement but fact and reality. Everyone should watch this to see what it means to be in forced migration in the hope of safety, and to breakdown assumptions of who someone in forced migration is when in reality it can be anyone just like you.
This is the most important film I have seen about people, of whom approximately 80% are women and children, are in forced migration outside their home country.
Today, June 1 2022, there are 26.6 million people in this situation. As perhaps do you, most, if not all, believed this would never happen to them. Please remember them on June 20th which is World Refugee Day.
