I just finished the series after bingeing fir almost a week. I had it languishing in my Netflix "list" for a long time when a friend suggested I watch it. I'm so glad she did. I gradually fell in love with all the Sense8's, their partners and allies. The characters were just marvelous to watch as they realized the Sense8 connections and began becoming familiar with their power. Taking on an evil plot to see them done away with was a great frame to unify them in a shared hero's journey. The locations were incredible and I loved that the actors belonged to their locations. The cinematography was amazing to me. Many of the scenes with the Sense8's collaborating, helping one another, having sex together, experiencing each others' pain, had to be incredibly difficult to choreograph and film. All in all, it was just a delight to watch. Once I got started, I couldn't stop. I also loved the relaxed, even joyous, portrayal of sexual and gender fluidity.
