Les Ratcliffe

We were expecting this to be movie about WW2, what a load of crap it turned out to be! No wonder it returned less than $1m in the box office. Some of the stunts were totally unbelievable and they spoiled any minute sense of reality that the movie may have had. Can’t believe the Kiwis would fund this disaster. Don’t waste your time watching.

Long movie well acted but I was expecting more

The story line is over the top and the more I watched it, the less believable it became by episode 4. Series 1 I’d had enough.

The series was hurriedly finished off which was very evident in the last few episodes. It tried to be ‘one with the lot’ covering all aspects of multicultural Australia and towards the end we were struggling to watch it. Didn’t reach the heights in TV soap and probably got what it deserved. Some actors were also in The Sapphires movie too.

Although the film is packed with action and adventure, I agree with Harrison Ford that it’s time to let it go. The series has covered Indiana from a teen (River Phoenix) to a very old man trying to do more than he is realistically capable of doing.
