Just watched the show for the first time. Eric is a craftsman with a great personality. Interesting, funny and informative. Will continue to watch him help restore these wonderful old mansions! A breath of fresh air from all these do-it-yourself shows with gorgeous girls in hair and full nighttime makeup, pretending to actually do something. You can't build a house when the humidity is 60%, it's hot as hell and you want to leave your long styled hair hanging down. Found that phony. But we love Eric and his partner! Michelle from Texas.

Love the show...including the "banter" and full-on competition which makes it interesting and different from other "fixer-uppers". What I don't like is we've lost Eric the contractor. Bring him back! Stars have a lot of positive/negative charisma and none of their scripting, if any, sounds phony like on Property Brothers who drive me nut "trying" to be funny. which again, makes the show not boring like most of these shows are, after a while.
