This is not a “Kiss contribution to the grunge era.” This was an attempt by Kiss to pick the pockets of a generation who no longer found Kiss to be relevant. To date, they’ve never played any of these tracks live nor did they bother to even tour for this record. Carnival of Souls is a straight up, blatant cash grab. They owe any money they made from it back to Alice In Chains and Soundgarden for the obnoxious plagiarism that it is. Grunge, by definition, was meant to kill off those tired, wretched dinosaurs of the 1970’s and 80’s. Get a hint already… and take this sorry record with you.
