Pretty terrible show. AWFUL ending. 50% of the episodes are filler...but the plot is already abysmal. Shocked a second season is coming out.
Wish they'd invested half of their billion-dollar budget on writers, LOTR historians and theologians, test audiences, and real life special effects and costumes....

LOVED it! And I've been an OG fan since 2005. Maybe it's because my expectations were super low after the DISASTER M Knight version.
But I was pleasantly surprised by this! The guy that plays Sokka did a great job! It's not an easy role to pull off.
I would never think the live-action would be just like the original. That's impossible. But I appreciated that many of the scenes were pulled from the original. I also felt the raw emotions of wars destruction more than I ever did from the anime.
I can't wait for season 2 and 3 :)
