I think the Mandalorian in its entirety is a fun addition to the saga and the Star Wars universe in general; some of the episodes are actually genuinely engaging and well made. But it seems like ever since Disney has taken over production they’ve only made the Star Wars series a nerfed and hollowed version of what it once was. It seems like they’ve made all of these series’ and movies for children. For example, season three’s first episode is so boring and the storyline is so unilateral and mundane; scenes that are too long and pointless—often only to showcase aesthetics; boring dialogue; predictable punchlines, character development, and storyline trajectory; wacky fight scenes; etc. etc. It just disappoints me that Star Wars has lost its edge and has become some simplistic children’s show. Other than that, the show is pretty good!
