Well... Look I remember it from a long time ago and the material was of interest to me at the time. So I guess it was, for me, a really good film. However I've not been able to rewatch with an older critic's eye. I would expect the if you compared it to other film of 1984 it'd be 3.5 to 4 stars. If you compared it to current productions the stars may be lower. However that would not negate the enjoyment I had when I was 14 years old.
