I honestly think that the first season of the show was the only good season. I'll admit that season 2 was entertaining, at least to see how over-the-top and ridiculous they could make the show. But now, with season 3, I honestly just feel that the show has fallen apart a bit.
The first season had a decent plot, teen drama that wasn't as overly forced as it is now, and it didn't feel like you were swimming through molasses to get to the end of the series, because they weren't dragging it out for 22 episodes, but kept it to 13, which meant the plot moved along at a reasonable pace and you didn't get all these "filler episodes".
I might continue watching season 3, just to see what the heck is actually going on in this show, and see if I can actually make sense of this nonsensical plot, but I'm not holding out any hope that it will return to the land of some vague reality and be as good as it was when it first started.
