Very gripping, but meanders in many episodes, too many subplots, no resolution of some issues, like Billy, and finally, the open ended end is not satisfying. But brilliant acting by Anamika, Madhav and Manish. Anamika played by Madhuri Dixit remains a scene stealer. Do watch.

A grand spectacle as all SLB productions are. Participation by so many eminent classical musicians led one to hope the music would be better; it was only OK. Focus only on nawabs not the Sikh gentry jarred, the Punjabi accents were not authentic. Scenes looked the same, repetitive dialogs, too serious with no light moments....the serial drags. Insistence on a monochromatic look in every scene bores. Yet, it's an unavoidable watch. Manisha Koirala rocks!
