Theres a few laughs in there, not hilarious. The original series as described by a friend "A thinking mans sitcom" the jokes are quite cheap. The casting, two big names one from the UK and one from the US, the rest are not or barely recognisable.
A lot of the time the secondary characters stand in the background as if held in space until Fraiser is finished conversing.
Listen, its the 1st season, any series any where will always need time to find its footing before you get those memorable moments. I think eventually, given time, it'll become what the old series was. Two episodes in and I think its getting an unjustified bashing.
I dont believe Grammer will bury his head in the sand and continue down a path that the viewership isnt here for, the next episodes will be better. If not at least the next series should there be one.
