I was captivated, brimming with authenticity. It portrays reality in a raw and genuine manner. They faced all adversities without surrendering, revealing the harshness of natural elements: cold, hunger, and the instinct for survival. Although I watched the American version years ago and found it good, this Uruguayan adaptation far surpasses it. In Hollywood, they often deviate by showcasing attractive and athletic actors, overlooking human physiological needs, resulting in excessive superficiality. In contrast, this film is genuine and reflects the harshness of conditions and the true emotions that humans experience in adverse situations: fear, hunger, frustration, sadness, and courage.
There wasn't a "young hero" in the American style, devoid of human feelings and existence; here, everyone was a hero and depicted the reality that humans face in adversity.
I recommend it 100%
