I love it! It’s important to note I’m a ‘cheap date’ with relation to series’s & movies. Everything these days seems so serious…antagonistic, everywhere we turn. I make a conscious effort not to critique television entertainment, like this, so intensely. If it catches my attention & draws me in, chances are high, I will like it. The Undeclared War did EXACTLY that. I could do without the nonsensical ‘woke’ messaging sprinkled throughout, but whatever; this seems to be an accurate portrayal of our world today. Aside from that, I couldn’t tell you the first thing about coding, or the use of ‘work experience persons’ in such high security clearance places, being realistic… but I don’t care, it all makes for a good show. I watch tv so I can ‘check out’ of reality, not so I can clock a production or writer’s ability to make everything “believable”.
MUSIC! It’s there for a reason! Music has the ability to change the watcher/listener’s perception & experience. The theme song used here, is Russian folk song: Under The Willow, composed by Debbie Wiseman. It’s beautiful, haunting, transcendent, eerie…all the things! It does what it was designed to do… perfection!
