It is not a movie about hope, rather it is a dark portrayal of a country under the fist of total government rule, dark and dreary.

Enthralling british drama that captures police life during the late 50s and early 60s. Endeavour Morse, a dedicated police officer who faces a battle with alcohol throughout his career, has the rare ability to untangle difficult cases that baffle his co-workers. Working with him, his senior, no-nonsense partner that challenges Morse throughout the series yet sees him as an intricate and contributive partner in the fight against crime. It is a gem that requires serious viewing in order to be appreciated.

Acting is terrible and the ages of some of the actors seem out of place....eg. grandfather too old in comparison to his son.....aunt is too young in comparison to the two children that are in her care, etc.

Great show that offers more than just ghosts and demons! Will anything be able to take its place?

An imaginative story about the Munich meeting between Hitler and Mr. Chamberlain and the days leading up to the Munich Peace Agreement. In the story, two diplomats, each representing the two nations that brought about the signing of the agreement, seek to work together to stop the signing of the agreement by the English representatives, as they have come across a document that disputes Hitlers promises and displays his real intention of expanding German possessions, even if it requires doing it through aggressive means. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.

First couple of episodes are a bit confusing....characters are not clear. Also, do not expect it to be anything similar to the Arthurian legend......it veers from this story line. As one goes further into the series, things start to come into place, and one begins to enjoy the visuals in and the twists and turns of the story.
