Wonderfully acted with great production values. The world is amazingly realized. You can tell they spent money on this. If you pare it down to it's bones, the shows themes are not new, at least from what we see in season 1. What makes it unique though is its steampunk setting and the characters that inhabit it. Orlando Bloom and Cara Delavigne carry this show all the way. I'm trying really hard to find something I don't like about it and I'm not finding any. Steampunk, dark fantasy, mystery and a bit of romance well done.

I love this show. Science Fiction done right for the most part. They really tightened up the pace for Season 2. Production values are very good. Sometimes the CG can be a bit hokey (Season 1 Finale) but forgivable (it is for TV after all.) Very well acted, too. Not a big fan of how Paul is being acted, but it may get better. I can't wait for season 3. Watch this show!

Kind of a slow burn type of show. Josh Brolin as Royal is very good. He's got that stoic cowboy persona down pat. The supporting cast is also very good. Over all, well-acted and beautifully shot. The pacing may not be to everyone's liking. Unfortunately, the whole dysfunctional, non communicating family trope is so played out. No one talks to any one in any reasonable way in this family, which does not happen often in real life, and that could take some viewers out. Summing it up, the story has promise, I hope they tighten up the pace a bit more if it gets renewed for a Season 2. Oh and the premise is quite out there, lol.
