This book was one of many options assigned to me in a summer reading project. I Chose it because of the dystopian plot which interested me. I never read books, just skim through what's assigned to me in school but I read Brave New World cover to cover in a span of 4 days and enjoyed it. I've seen reviews of it being hard to understand, which is why I feel that it's important to address that even though there are quite a lot of words I wasn't familiar with, I could easily understand everything the author was trying to convey as a 16 year old non-reader. The first two chapters were very enjoyable, and I expected the whole book to continue with a similar path of narration. But instead, it went deeper into the characters relations with one another and the world, I was annoyed at first, but it's needed to understand the book as a whole. It wasn't the first time I felt the author wrote too much on a certain topic, but in the end I wouldn't change anything. There is an exception with the ending, in my opinion it was pretty underwhelming and even confusing. I'm sure I just don't understand and can't see the bigger picture, but it truly was a letdown reading the last paragraphs seeing as I was excited to see how the author would end it. In all, a great book, would read again.
