Absolutely awful TV. Terrible acting, terrible script. Could have been great, but it was let down badly by the production team, writers, actors, basically everyone. It had no heart or authenticity. You just don't care about anyone in the show. It was as though they thought they had done the hard part by coming up with a great idea. They just forgot to turn it into a great show. It has a decent cast too, I just don't know how they made such a lazy job of it. The only defense I can offer, is that it was made 12 years ago. Maybe the bar was just really low back in 2009. It wasn't, but I'm trying to be kind. Likely one tv show all involved will leave off their C.V. Or at least it should be. That is 22 episodes worth of time I will never get back.
