I can't give it above 2 stars unfortunately. This was my most anticipated game of the year as I am a massive fan of the original. For this game though, the story is incredibly boring, the combat is mediocre, and worst of all the quirky humor that made the original game great is gone. It has just become another lifeless Starfield clone. I'm giving it two stars instead of one because it is a good sleep aid, so at least it has some value.

The game is glitch to the point where it is unplayable. The mission where we warn Leo glitches every time you go up the stairs to his house, so I was unable to progress past that point.

I wasted 2 hours of life on this game I will never get back. The game is literally pointless. I like the free mobile Animal Crossing game called Pocket Camp better. There are more tasks and actual missions to complete, and you can easily travel between several different islands. In New Horizons you are stuck on a small, empty island doing nothing but collecting sticks. Wish I would have saved my money.

Between this and the garbage EA Masters game, I'm starting to think these developers are so incompetent we will never see a good golf game again.
