Absolutely amazing movie. Though a biography it did not dwell too much into his early childhood or college days. From a baby it directly jumps to his days in IMA. No scene is stretched but there were times when we wanted more but the scene quickly moved to next event. For a history enthusiast like me who has read a lot about India's wars and Field Marshal Sam this was a total entertainer as I never had to focus on what next. But even for others this is a wonderful movie that shows in a subtle manner how the Indian army can do wonders if there is strong political backing. Sam Bahadur's character is beautifully conveyed through a series of specific incidents. War scenes were done fairly well - but as already mentioned no scene was prolonged. Overall a very good entertainer and educative for the post 90s generation
