It is a very long, emotionless, boring audio book . I am currently listening to Chapter 13. Although Barbras voice is very soothing, the content leans towards narcissistic. Makes we want the shout "SHUT UP!"
I have read, listened to and or researched many autobiographies, Barbra is lacking
depth and creativity but shares an overabundance of detail, coming off as arrogant and conceited. There is no shock factor in this book, absolutely nothing exciting has happened to this point. In this time of Me Too, not one mention of any inappropriate behavior occurring on Broadway or in Hollywood.
This is what you will get;
Barbra belting out her favorite tunes
Barbra patting her self on the back
A detailed account of every gown Barbra ever wore, many of which she designed herself
A play by play of every concert ,TV show theater production she has ever been in.
