If You are expecting another thattathin marayathu magic from Vineeth Sreenivasan ,then this isn't it. The name of the film 'hridayam' has nothing to do with the fim. a typical cliche love story, with a mix of some other movies. The trailer had so much intensity, which the actual movie doesn't had.You can enjoy the film if you go and watch it without any expectation. I don't know why, this film got this much hype. I think Vineeth Sreenivasan was not able to communicate with the audience.i don't know what he was trying to say through this film. This film is shown through the angle of a male, which is undoubtedly written by a male which definetly lacks when it comes to emotion. Film is revolving around the concept of love at first sight. I am a 22 year old, and I found the film really cringey, when it comes to the proposal scene as well as some other scene. I have heard my peers and younger friends praising about the film,so I guess this isn't for a matured audience. The first half was nostalgic, especially if you are a btech student.The second half kind of felt like a matrimony ad. After completing the film,I felt like the film is incomplete and something is there that haven't told yet. The relationship between arun neelakandan and darshana is questionable, because I wonder did they really love each other. The film showcases so many feminine characteristics like bindi and untied hair,I think it was unnecessary because it solely concentrated on the outer beauty of female leads. Some positives about the film is the changing concept of only male lead have past relationships and female lead doesn't have , also making the male lead clearing his back papers, toppers are praised contrary to other fims. Cinematography deserve all the appreciation. Music director hesham made his identity through the film, every song and background music was beautiful and fitted perfectly to the situation. When it comes to acting,darshana carried the entire film . I think pranav needs to improve ,his dialogue delivery was very poor. Kalyani Priyadarshan was acting like the same in the film varane avashyamund, I don't know she could act. Supporting actor Ashwath really had his own personality and style , and he did a great job.

The film October is like reading a beautiful melancholy book. If you feel like you need a pat on the shoulder while having a hard time, this film is the best. This film is my favourite place to go, I comeback to it very frequently. It's an unconditional story of love between two people, cannot precisely say it's a love story, it could be or it could not be sometimes.. maybe a story of humanity or compassion. The exact interpret is upto the audience. This film is criminally underated. The common bollywood movie lovers might not like it, it's a different film completely. The cinematography is an art in this film. Sujit Sarkar did a phenomenal job. Varun Dhawan's best work till date. Banita Sandhu tells stories with her eyes.
