I have had such an enjoyable time reading this book. I grew up around the horse racing industry and even worked at various race tracks in my life. This book made me feel like I was a going back in time a little bit. I feel like the author Alan Patterson gave us a peek into what the life Life of a jockey must have be like. There is a love story intertwined with heartfelt action and suspense! I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to escape from the world for a few hours and into the world of someone beating all odds. I really enjoyed this book and I hope you will too!
