first 3 books in the series were as good as it gets. Book 4 slipped and book 5 was horrible with no end in sight. My recommendation would be for you to wait until the series is completely finished and then decide if you want to invest the time. Even though book 4 is not so good and book 5 is horrible I still have to strongly recommend the first 3 books.
