The title made me laugh. The cast made me watch it. After 20 minutes I was dying of boredom. Imagine this movie getting made in the 80s. Movies like Carbon Copy and Soul Man which tackled the same topic but gripped its audience with comic timing, on screen chemistry, and energy. Is that really the same Eddie Murphy who pulled off Nutty Professor, Coming to America, and Trading Places? Is that the Same Jonah Hill who did Wolf of Wall Street and Super Bad?
This generation is deprived of real comedy, and I feel for them. As a black non-American, it also dawned on me that black American culture has lost its worldwide influence. So regressive and out of touch. Time to move on.
