it's a depressing movie written and directed by paul schraeder and that's pretty much all you need to know. it has that schrader intensity of something just around the corner. you have to be either be a paul schrader fan or a fan of movies of that ilk. it is not for everyone. if you're new to schrader just read between the lines of the other favorable reviews. get a vibe from all the reviews and make your decision
